Founded by Victim Support Europe, Tech4Victims is a new innovation event dedicated to exploring how technology can strengthen victim support, improve access to justice, and contribute to safer and healthier societies. Built on the belief that innovation is not technology alone, but better support for people, Tech4Victims brings together technology developers, victim support professionals, law enforcement experts, policymakers, researchers, and civil society to create solutions that respond to real-world needs. 

The first edition of Tech4Victims will take place on 20 November 2026 at C-mine in Genk, Belgium — a former coal-mining site transformed into a leading creative and innovation hub. The event is organised in collaboration with its 2026 partners Visit Limburg, C-mine, and LUCA School of Arts, whose expertise and commitment to creativity, innovation, and societal impact help shape the event’s vision. 

Bringing together experts, innovators, and practitioners for a one-day programme of interactive sessions, solution showcases, and collaborative discussions, Tech4Victims explores how emerging technologies can support victims throughout their journey — from reporting and accessing help to recovery and empowerment. 

Through new formats designed for participation and exchange, Tech4Victims aims to create meaningful connections between those developing innovative technologies and those working to build stronger, more human-centred support systems for victims.
